Positive pregnancy test on birth control in the middle of a pack?

Hello! I'm currently on monessa. Last cycle I was 4 days late, period came, very light then regular. Was a couple days shorter than normal. For whatever reason, I took a pregnancy test halfway through my birth control pack and came back a faint positive. Have taken a couple more tests and have come back negative. Does anyone have any idea what this could possible be? The positive one I took was middle of the day. Took one next morning and it was negative. VERY STRANGE. Any thoughts would help. I have a week left in my BC pack.
