Cold/flu in early pregnancy

I am very newly pregnant (like suuuuper early). I have a terrible cold/flu. Will this in any way effect my pregnancy/embryo?

You should be fine...I have always gottten SUPER sick in the first trimester (low immune system due to your body making baby). Unfortunately the worst part is going to be suffering through it with minimal meds to ease symptoms.
