Want to surprise hubby with announcement of baby #2 pregnancy
He has a graduation ceremony for nursing school on Thursday 11/10 and on 11/22 he will take his nursing license exam. Should I surprise him on 11/10 or wait until pass exam on 11/22?
FYI- TTC #1 took 6 months, TTC #2 took less than 1 month. I am 4 weeks and 3 days today.

I'm a nurse. Please don't tell him the day he takes his test. If it's the same nclex style test I took you won't find out if he passed or not until a week or so later. He's gunna be stressed out waiting on offical results and you're most likely not going to etc a true happy reaction from him bc of the stress of anticipation. Tell him when he graduates bc it'll be a happy day already and you'll be making it happier with your news and you'll most likely get the happy reaction you deserve from him without all the added stress lingering over.

This is ultimately up to you and your husband. You do whatever you feel is right. I know when I found out I was pregnant I wanted to wait until I had a good beta series because after 6 first trimester losses, 5 of which were chemical pregnancies, I just didn't want to get his hopes up AGAIN and have them dashed AGAIN. But I know my husband and I knew he'd be upset with me for waiting to tell him. Knowing what I know when I find out is more important to him than a cutesy surprise or waiting till the timing is "right" to tell him.
That being said I have some friends who waited to tell their husbands because of something going on in their life, like your situation, or because they were waiting on a book/mug/onesie/whatever for the cutesy announcement and their respective husbands were perfectly happy with the delay for better timing and such.
You know your husband best. If you think he'll be too stressed out and won't react well: wait. If he'd rather just know maybe tell h

Thank you everyone for the votes and comments. Told hubby tonight with a card that said Love april, Finn, and baby #2, he didn't have much of a reaction at first, but during dinner he showed more emotion and is excited. Surprised that he knocked me up in 1 shot since the 1st pregnancy took 6 months.
