Clomid and a trigger shot, how often to have sex and when?
Hi all,
I am new to this forum. My OH and I have been TTC for about 2 years now with no success. We have both been tested and it looks as though my left tube is blocked, the left ovary is also where most of my follicles are. I took Clomid this month day 3-7 and then had a trigger shot on day 9, we BD that night and then the following night but due to work were unable to BD the next day. I was not told when to BD and now i'm worried I have missed the opportunity - have any of you ladies any advice or stories you can share with me? Thank you,

Hi lilimpkids@gmail.com, thank you for answering me. I took 50mg of clomid on days 3-7 then went for an ultrasound on day 9, the Dr was happy with the size of the follicle and gave me a shot of Ovitrelle, 250. This is my first round of Clomid and the shot, I am unsure of all the amounts at the moment but am praying (aren't we all) that I won't have too many rounds and i can get pregnant - there's so much information out there and i need to wade through it all. With the shot i think ovulation occurs around 24-48 hours later so i didn't test, we just BD on the first two days then missed a day and BD again last night. Fingers crossed. How are you doing? How many rounds of clomid have you done?
