What was your experience with clomid? Side effects? Multiples? Reason for taking it?

Hi ladies! Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I am going to start my first cycle of clomid soon and I'm looking for some insight. I am officially in the recurrent pregnancy loss category as of Thursday and seeing a specialist. Neither my husband or I have had any abnormal tests. I am having more done this Monday to include karyotyping but so far nothing looks to be the cause. I always get pregnant right away but cannot keep it past 6 weeks. The reasoning for taking clomid was explained that hopefully 2 eggs are produced and one is of good enough quality. I'm only 26. Otherwise totally healthy. I know clomid is usually for women who are not ovulating but I have read success for my situation too. I would love to hear your stories. I would be every so lucky to have one healthy baby but I'm up for the challenge of multiples. My doctor says the chance of multiples is slightly higher for my situation since I do ovulate already but still slim at 15%.Thanks again for reading.
