A WEEK LATE BUT NEGATIVE TESTS. Can you test positive weeks after a missed period?

Just wanted to hear from people out there who didn't get a BFP till well after missed period so I can get an idea of whether I'm still actually quite early with testing.
I've never been late before so I'm hoping it can only mean 1 thing.

Although not the most normal, it is not uncommon to test negative for a week or two after a missed period.
What is your cervix position? Temp? Symptoms?

Cp is soft high closed. Temp this morning was 36.

Cp is soft high closed. Temp this morning was 36.6. Still above cover line. I've had no spotting. Just the occasional cramp.

I've just checked my cervix is so high I can't quite reach it.
And I've had the typical sore boobs the past couple of days...
