Question

6 months TTC and just started my period..

This was me and my husbands 6 month of TTC.. I got my period today and I'm getting discouraged.. I'm 21 so I should be fertile I thought it was gonna take a few months at tops.. it's so hard.. any advice ladies??

It can easily take up to a year to conceive. Make sure that your timing is right using OPKs and BBT charting. With charting you can even confirm if and when ovulation occurred. Don't forget your prenatal vitamins and remember that proper nutrition can go a long way. If no success after 1+ year you may want to see your dr for some testing like a HSG to check if the tubes are open and a semen analysis for your partner. Best wishes.

It took me two years to conceive my now almost 3 year old. It's definitely not an easy road especially going for so long. It takes the average couple 6 months to a year to conceive when actively trying. Don't give up hope!! :)
