So you pregnancy tested with an ovulation test? Am I reading that right?

I typically get nearly positive OPKs before my period. I know several other ladies I've talked to said they do also. I wouldn't consider a nearly positive OPK to mean anything in terms of pregnancy. And, for what it's worth, I took an OPK at 4w4d and the test line was super dark. It was the darkest test line I've ever seen on an OPK. But my hCG the day before for my final beta was 743.

If you think you're pregnant you need to take a pregnancy test not an ovulation test.

If cost is the reason you're using an ovulation test you already have instead of getting a pregnancy test I'd suggest picking up on of the 88 cent tests from Wal-Mart (First Signal) or the $1 test from the Dollar Tree (New Choice). They're both great and still very affordable.
