Implantation bleeding?

So last night at work I had some light pink spotting. Then when I got home a few hours later it turned to a brown color. Then this morning nothing. My period isn't due until Sunday. Could this be implantation bleeding or just spotting before my period starts? Had had some cramps a few days ago but no cramping since. Any helpful thoughts would be appreciated.
