Question

Positive pregnancy tests but bleeding for 4 days?

Okay so sunday I started getting cramps and light blood it was pinkish then brown no bright red. On and off for 2 days then day 3 became bright red medium to light flow. Day 4 a couple of random heavy bleeds then stops back to light flow. Currently on day 5 very very light. Sunday I went to the doctor my beta hcg was 1.2 but I believe this is the day I implanted. They considered that negative of course. My resting hcg is .2 it always is and I only have one ovary so I know its very low. I took a pregnancy test last night and this morning both positive faint but positive. I'm not sure what to do at this point. I'm concerned because of the bleeding and cramping on and off the past few days. My 1st pregnancy was before endometriosis and ovary removal so I'm not sure if maybe this could be due to that and the pregnancy combined or potenial m/c or ectopic. So should I go to the ER or wait and keep retesting? Has the happened to anyone else or similar? What was the outcome?

I can't answer your question regarding the endometriosis and ovary removal; but I can say from personal experience that you can bleed and still be pregnant. I bled for almost a full month when pregnant with my son. It wasn't heavy, more like spotting-to-light, but I did need liners. If you got a positive on a stick, no matter how faint, I'd say go back for another blood test. If you levels are high enough for a urine test to show positive, they must be high enough for a blood test (I assume - not a doctor over here). If nothing else, the doctor will be able to compare you levels from Sunday to your levels today and see if there's been a change. The last thing you want is to mess around with an ectopic! Good luck!
