Yes, I've used it, but the reduced ubiquinol form. My RE told me that there are some animal studies (bovine, I think) that support the idea that ubiquinol helps cells division in reproduction. If those data extend to humans, then one could reason that it may help our eggs develop properly in the ovary and divide appropriately once fertilized. It would be beneficial to older women ttc and to women who have other egg dysfunction. My RE said to go for the ubiquinol form over regular CoQ10 as it's better and more absorbed. 600/ day divided up to into 3 does of 200 each time. And he said the studies indicate that you need to take it for 3 cycles prior the one in which it will benefit you because it helps the eggs when they are still just developing germ cells deep in the ovary, not when they're already near the surface and maturing. Then it's too late. I had been on it for 4 months when I conceived DD. Don't know if it did the trick, but why not try?

I've been taking CoQ10 since April, so for 5 months. When I started seeing my RE he asked what supplements I was taking, I said CoQ10 and a prenatal and he applauded me for having done my homework. He said that there is some research that suggests that CoQ10 *may* improve egg quality and all the research on it suggests it's perfectly safe to take. So why not?
Since I started taking it in April I've had 3 chemical pregnancies. I had 1 early MC and 2 chemical pregnancies before I started taking it. So I can't really say if it's helping or not.
Like Monkey37 I'm also taking the ubiquinol form, 200mg per day. My husband is also taking it as there is some research that it *may* improve sperm quality also.
