Azoospermia-no sperm
Hi Everyone, I hope that someone might have any advice for us.
Little about our situation-
I am 28 have a child from a previous relationship,with regular periods,ovulate every month,however my beloved partner has had 2 SA's done and all show no sperm.
We have been trying for 14 months now and it's getting a bit too overwhelming for me.
We have got a fertility clinic appointment in December and i guess i just want to know if anyone's been in our situation and actually got somewhere.
Hes had his bloods done too and his testosterone was on the low normal side and Fsh was elevated. His ultrasound was normal so its most likely hormonal issue.
I imagine he will have to have surgical sperm retrieval and I just pray to God that they find something.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated...

Oh gosh. I'm so sorry. Azoospermia is rough. I have a friend whose husband's SA showed azoospermia and their only option to have a child of their own has been to do IVF with micro TESE and ICSI.
And I'd assume that if they're unable to find sperm the RE will suggest donor sperm.
I would also suggest having your husband see a urologist that specializes in male fertility. The rationale for this is that while an RE is the best option for female infertility a urologist who specializes in male fertility is often better for males with infertility. Sometimes they can find reasons for low/no sperm production and work to fix the issue.

Thank you so much for such an extensive answer. I guess we are just at the beginning of this long road. I wouldn't mind waiting if I knew that we will get somewhere.its just really hard to stop dreaming and imagining knowing it may never come true. Hope you have a lovely day.thanks again
