Question

Healthy (Fertility Boosting) meals while trying to concieve???

Hi Ladies I have just joined 2nd mth TTC my 1st and I am struggling to make sure im having balanced diet meals for lunch & dinner. I am currently a normal weight so im not doing too bad but I find when I get home from work somedays I am so tired i just make noodles or something quick for the two of us and I know veggies and fruit are a must TTC. Has anyone got any healthy (fertilty boosting) meals that you could share? ????????????

You don't need an elaborate meal plan when TTC. What I would emphasize are protein (eggs, nuts, fish, meat, grains like quinoa instead of white rice, hempseed), vegetables and fruits (dark green leafy like kale and spinach; orange produce like peppers, sweet potato instead of white potatoes; all berries). Limit dairy (omit nonfat products). Add healthy oils (fish oil, olive oil avocado, a variety of nuts. Consider limiting sugar, white flour/wheat, caffeine. Keep it simple, marinate, grill, sauté, make salads with various ingredients and enjoy your food !
Two of my favorites: pineapple-banana-avocado salad. Cucumber-tomato-avocado salad with a light sour cream dill dressing :)
