Question

Has anyone applied for a grant to help with ivf cost? If so how was the process?

Just started researching ivf grants and was wondering if anyone had any advice. I have been trying for 8 years for number 2. Doctor gives me a 1 percent change on own and wants me to do ivf. 17k plus bc my insurance does not cover it. My insurance did cover iui but it was still 500 to 2000 for cobpays and meds. We did 2 iui last year with no success. I feel like I am running out of time and options :( I am 36 and I have pcos and my husband has low morphology
What would you do in my situation?

Hi there! I just saw this question as my husband and I are getting ready to start IVF in January. We were told that people have waited years for answers back from grant applications and few are ever given money. :( Check out Progyny-- I'm not exactly sure of their process, but I know their goal is to help couples with the financial side of IVF.
I'm finding the IVF process pretty lonely, myself. If you are on the IVF journey, my husband and I have started a community called Our IVF Stories (.com) where I'm posting about our process and others can sign up to share their experiences as well. Hopefully we can get people talking and share our experiences. Good luck!! xo
