Question

Ovary like pain?! 4 weeks & 6 days pregnant.. Possible ectopic pregnancy?!!

Days before my missed period I was cramping for a bit thinking I was going to get my period. The day I was supposed to get my period and few days after, the same thing. I thought I was going to get my period since I've been irregular the last several months so perhaps I'd get my period on cycle day 32 instead of 28. But cycle day 32 came and passed so yesterday on cycle day 33 I tested. I got a BFP INSTANTLY! Dark line and all, I was stunned.
As I continued on with my day at work (hostess/server) I began feeling ovulation like cramps around my ovary area. I didn't think much of it at first till it continues till late at night. It comes and goes for a few seconds but I'm pretty worried it can be an ectopic pregnancy?!
I was cramping earlier in the week, thinking my utererus was just expanding like normal. But now I'm having these sharp feeling like maybe it's not in the right place where it should be:(
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!!

It's a little early for ectopic pain but def don't rule it out. It sounds a lot like that is the corpus luteum (leftover follicle the egg is released from). I have had that sharp achey pain with every pregnancy I've had. It's almost a constant pain that varies in degrees. Mine always lasted til about 8wks along and was confirmed as a large cyst during my first ultrasound (dating scan). I'm not saying this is the case for u, it *could* be ectopic, def make an appt to see ur Dr before 12wks, but factoring in how early u are and when this all started, it really sounds like the CL cyst. That is very normal in the first few weeks. It goes away once the placenta starts to kick in (10-ish weeks), then u get new pains (round ligament pains) as the uterus starts to get some weight to it. Those are fun, just wait lol! ;)
Give ur Dr a call, let 'em know ur problem and they'll get ya in accordingly.
Congrats! =))
