you can get pregnant while breastfeeding... take a test... talk to your doctor

I haven't really got an answer, though I'm in a similar situation! I am breastfeeding my 12 month old and my period hasn't returned, I have bought ovulation strips to see if I'm ovulating. My periods returned after six months with my first so I thought they wouldn't be far behind this time. I would rather like them to return as I want to fall pregnant quite quickly now, I like the 21 month age gap!

Baby turned 1 today and I was also wondering the same.
He is breastfed and still no period.
I had heavy similar to ovulation discharges for about two months, til about thursday last week. I feel like I did ovulate and am on my way to getting my periods back (if we haven't conceived...).
