Everyone is different; not all cycles are created equally. I can ovulate from cd12-cd16. My l.p. is 12 or 13 days (cycles are therefore 24-29 days...some even shorter...some longer). Keep testing!! I usually get pos in pm. I test mid afternoon and at night as I'm getting ready for bed. Sometimes I have seen a very light test mid afternoon and then blazing pos later...Sometimes it gradually increases. It may take a few months to get your own rhythm :) I also suggest charting bbt to confirm ovulation. In some cases, I have not ovulated the day after pos. Rather, it has been 2 days (estimated 36 hours) post pos. Your cervical fluid will change. During o mine is generally watery, not the "egg white" as others describe.

Hang in there!! Keep testing!! You'll get the hang of it!!

Thank you very much for your advice, will keep testing not sure if I even ovulate due to very irregular cycles so I hope the line keeps getting darker.
