PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!

I went tp the hospital today with some dull cramping on my right side (only my right side) and they did an ultrasound but nothing showed up but my HCG levels are 118. They told me it could be ectopic pregnancy, early miscarriage, or a really early pregnancy. The only thing is I don't know when I ovulated and my cycles are all over the place since I still breastfeed my 13 month old. My question is... is 118 too low? My LMP was July 18th but like I said my cycles are all over the place
