Question

3 LH surges??

This is my first cycle TTC using OPKs. I had a positive result on CD14, then negatives until CD18 (very strong positive) followed by cramps on left side and sore breasts, so I assumed ovulation. Last night was CD20 and I took an OPK to see if my LH levels had gone back down post-ovulation. The result was so positive that the test line was stronger than the control. Today is CD21 and with FMU my OPK was just as strong as last night.

I know this could mean a few things. Has anyone had this happen to them before? Does that mean I'm ovulating now and my last positives were just surges? I'm mostly confused because of the cramps and sore breasts if O didn't happen CD18.

Any insight appreciated. Anyone else have several surges and dips per cycle?

It's my first time using opks this cycle and they seem to be so up and down. I would get a positive. Then they'd get weak. And now they've gotten stronger again .... more confused now then ever.

We are in the same boat, friend -- so confusing.

I took another opk today and it's darker than ever. So maybe they weren't positives before..... I'm just going to keep taking opks and having sex every other day.

Hi,

Sometimes this happens when you have an ovarian cyst or if you have PCOS... I have PCOS and my OPKs are positive up to 20 days a cycle. And I also had three big ovarian cysts in my life that caused my OPKs to be very dark.
If you get the same results the next cycle, you should ask your doctor for an ultrasound, so you won't spend your money with OPKs...
Fingers crossed for you :-)
