Question

Am I getting the timing wrong?

Please help! TTC our 2nd for 8 months now and using ovulation test strips for 6 months. Conception every other couple of days leading up to ovulation and then every day on and around. Having ovulation cramps on CD13/14 and regular cycles every 25-27 days lasting 5 days. (However, this cycle only lasted 23 days). Went to the doctors last month and she's given me X2 blood tests to do this cycle. (Cd2-5 and CD28).

Ovulation tests are positive every time around conception but clearly not working. My husband and I take vitamins and he's changed his underwear to loose fitting boxers. I'm 30 he's 35. This has started to keep me away from my friends that have new babies and are falling pregnant because I feel so sad that I can't seem to get pregnant. Any advice ladies?

You can have too much sex, which is why its suggested to DTD every other day or so. His body may not be having enough time to make better stronger sperm. You can also try fertilaid off Walgreens.com I have had several friends use it to help strengthen their uterin lining. They also have some for guys that ups the sperm count and mobility. Good luck sweetie!

Start BD around CD 9 or 10. Start to take your OPK 7 days after end of your last period. My cycle is like yours. I was getting a + OPK around CD 10 and then a few Peaks. No luck for us either. 8 cycles here and I am giving up!
Sounds like your DH likes to BD alot, LOL, mine not as much so that could be my problem!

Hi FurBabyMomSoFar, don't give up, I'm just trying not to stress so much over this I just felt like this was taking over my life and I've seen first hand how it can effect some women so I'm trying to take a step back. I've started doing an OPK every day after my period in case I'm missing it and I'm not sure if it was an evap but it looked like I ovulated tge day after my period finished (cd7).I thought unlikely so I'm using a basal thermometer as well to chart. Just trying to focus on other things and like you said conceive every other day otherwise I just don't have the energy. To be honest even that is quite energy consuming with a 2 yr old and working. Lol good luck hun. Glass 1/2 full philosophy xx
