FRER vs. Clear Blue Plus
I HATE FRER ever since their new design. I received a positive on an Internet cheapie and a Clear Blue Plus, non digital). With the same urine sample, I received a negative FRER. I'm 9 DPO and feeling frustrated and discouraged. What are your experiences with these tests? I feel like since they both got a remake, Clear Blue seems better. Thoughts?

I know some people have horrible experiences with blue dye tests. They're known for their horrible positive looking evaps that can show up immediately after the time frame to read tests and also their skinny false positives. But with my last chemical pregnancy I got much more obvious positives on blue dye tests (ClearBlue plus and a generic | | blue dye tests) than I did from FRERs. The FRERs, for me at least, are freaking hard to read because of the glare that I always seem to have on the window and how tiny the positive line is to begin with and whatever else. I've had terrible luck with FRERs and the positives I get on them are never substantially darker than the positives I get on Wondfos.
I've been TTC 19 months with 5 losses so I've taken A LOT of pregnancy tests. And I've seen a decent number of positives. If you got an obviously there (even if it was faint) BFP on a cheapie and a ClearBlue I'd trust them as long as they showed up in the time frame.

I have 2 children ages 31/2 and 1 1/2. I used FRER for both of those pregnancies and I loved them! I jever had an evap or indent, negative was negative and positive was positive. I did try the clear blue tests and they hardley ever gave me a positive result even when FRER would. However, I have recently gone off the pill and we are not actively trying just letting happen what will happen, anyway last month I thought I was prego. I used the FRER and I am very unsatisfied with them. Every single test had a "line" so I thougt I was pregnant. Being a POAS addict I tried a blue dye test and they also showed a very faint line too. None of them ever got darker as they should , so I simply began to think they were all indents and evaps. I was not pregnant as I had gotten AF. Now I am torn , I do not really care for any of the tests on thr market, even the dollar tree changed their tests. All in all I can't not say one or the other. I also gave FRER a bad review on website.
