Question

I had a medicated Miscarriage 5 days ago but no pain.

I had to be medicated for my Miscarriage to make make sure I passed everything I was supposed to at 6 weeks. Clots passed 5 hours after taking the tablets but I didn't experience any pain at all.

I was bleeding a little more than a normal period for the past few days but today there is barely any blood there. I'm a little worried as to whether everything has passed or not.

Do you think because I was so early, that's why I didn't feel any pain or the bleeding hasn't lasted long? I am still testing positive on a hpt.

I'm so sorry for your loss, I've experienced that too in February at 7 weeks. My doctor gave me some pills to help me with the process but nothing major happened, had to go for a D&C. Not sure if a major bleeding has to occur but you need to see if there is passing tissue. The only way to confirm a complete miscarriage is by ultrasound, your doctor should have scheduled an appointment by now. You are going to keep having positive hcg tests until you get your period when the HCG numbers go back to zero. Hope this helps.

Thanks grace. So sorry you had to go through that. That is my worry, that the pregnancy is still there. I'm going to contact my gp today. Thanks
