Question

Longer cycle with Clomid?

I was put on Letrozole (Femara) for 7 months. For the last 3-4 months of this, my cycle was 28 days exactly each month. Because of the side effects, I was put on Clomid, 200 mg per day, day 5-9. I am now on CD 30 and am not sure whether to test or wait it out as I've heard that Clomid commonly makes cycles longer. Any advice??

Clomid extended my LP by 2-3 days which resulted in a longer cycle for me. I have never taken Femara so I'm not sure on the comparison between the 2. Have you taken a HPT?

I was on clomid for 8 months and my cycles were always 30 days and my normal cycle is 28 days. i was also on femara for 8 cycles and my cycles where always 26 to 28 days long, so i think its normal when on clomid for your cycles to be a bit longer. i usually wait till a week late to test only for the fear of it being negative. But you could always test so you know what to look forward to.
