Has anybody used Metformin to help conceive?
Hi! Just wondering if anybody has any experience with metformin? We are TTC number 2 and have been trying for over a year. We went to a fertility specialist and she told me to lose weight and come back in 6 weeks, then she would prescribe me with metformin, but didn't mention clomid. Just wondering if any one has used metformin and fallen preg with it. I have PCOS. Thanks! :)

My sister used Metformin and Clomid, she got pregnant after a few months; they also have a second baby, conceived naturally without any meds after 1 year.
I am now on Metformin for 2 months, on Clomid for the first time for this cycle. I also have PCOS - I believe its somehow genetic.
Metformin made me lose a bif of weight, too, but just got back from vacation so i gained it all again lol
