Question

1st time using clearblue opk only one day+ and then gone how long is it supposed to b +? HELP

Ok this is my first time using the clear blue opk I used another one last month that was positive for like a week. This time my Dr said use clear blue digital. So I tested Friday morning it was neg & I fell asleep before I tested that night but had done the BD that afternoon. Saturday morning I got the :) both morning and night and BD that night. My opk was neg this morning and all the box says is to have intercourse sometime within the next 48 hours after :) to maximize chance of pregnancy but how can you do that if its not positive all 48hours? Is it only positive before the big O? Am I still Ovulating or am I out for this month?

Many OPKs are positive 1 to 2 days. Your LH surge is 12 to 48 hours. You best time to BD is 3 days before ovulation, the day of ovulation and 1 day after. You should chart your BBT and use OPKs so you can get a better idea of your cycle and make sure you start BD'ing every other day starting 6 or 8 days after your period starts the new cycle.
