Accuracy of Fertility Friend for ovulation?
Been using Fertility Friend to track my cycles for a while, though this one is the first that we've tried for a kid. I'm wondering what everyone's opinions are of how accurate FF is in terms of ovulation... I'm asking because I'm fairly certain I ovulated on the 21st (as that's when I had the most symptoms), but FF says it was the 22nd based on a higher BBT increase from the 22nd to the 23rd than there was from the 21st to the 22nd. Thoughts?

FF has been very accurate for me in the 11 months I've been charting. I've noticed that, like most apps, the more information you put in the more accurate it will be. So I typically enter BBT, cm, cervical position/texture/openess and OPKs.
There have been times when I have a slow rise and FF has some trouble determining which day of the super slow rise was the actual day of ovulation. But if you had a nice clear temp shift then FF is probably correct.
Although FF is great it isn't perfect. So if you feel that all your fertility signs point to a different day for O and it works with your temps then you may want to keep that in mind when you're deciding when to test and when to expect your period. I personally wouldn't manually change the ovulation date till you get your period. If your period arrives on time with the FF ovulation date I'd keep it. If it arrives on time for the day you think you ovulated I'd change it manually.
Hope that helps!
