Question

HELP No Ovulation On Bloods but Positive on Ovulation Tests??!!

Hi Ladies

Me and hubby have being trying for our first child since May 2015 unsuccessfully. We have seen a specialist to get the basic tests done. Hubby has sperm analysed which came back normal. I have used clearblue digital ovulation tests throughout this period and have always got the standard, low, high and peak fertility results. My periods are regular (average 33) and with no pains either.

Day 3 bloods came back all normal in range. However she has done two lots of day 21 bloods on me (2 separate months) and both showed no ovulation.

I presumed the bloods done later in cycle would be 7 days before expected period (Not day 21 but day 26) and in that case they are done extremely early for me.

Are there no chance for me to get pregnant??
Can you still have so many positive OPK and not ovulate?? So confused and really sad now!

Please advise or give personal experiences....

It is entirely possible to get +OPKS and not ovulate.

OPKS detect a surge in LH indicating your body is getting ready to ovulate in 12-36 hours. A surge can occur and your body may not follow through with ovulation for many reasons.

Unfortunately, you do need to ovulate in order to conceive but there are ways to help correct this. Talk to your doctor.
