Question

What is considered CD1?

I'm so confused. I'm TTC and I'm trying to keep track of my cycles but I don't know what would be considered cd1. I've read online that if you get heavy flow early that day then that's cd1 but if you get it after 4:30pm that day then you would count the following day as cd1. Other sites say cd1 is when you start heavy flow. So I spotted on Sunday and got heavy flow late that Sunday, so which would be cd1? Please help!!!

Yes - full flow is CD1 - as for timing - I think that is up to you. For me, if I start bleeding before I go to bed at night then I count it as that same day. If I wake up to AF or found she arrived overnight I count the day I wake up as CD1. When I have to start meds on CD3 my RE was good with how I was tracking CD1 so long as it was indeed flow and not spotting. Good luck!

CD1 is the first day of your actual period, and your last CD is considered the day before your next period. Hope I could help! :)
