Is it possible to conceive naturally with low sperm count?
I've been checked and MD states that I'm fine, dh has not been checked but all signs are pointing to him... ???? I have a healthy 5 year old with a previous guy, my dh has no kids and together we've had 2 chemical pregnancies....

I'd suggest having a semen analysis done for him. They're fairly cheap and easy and would give you both some answers. If sperm count is a little low you could still get pregnant naturally but it would be more difficult. If sperm count is extremely low you'd likely need an IUI or IVF, depending on how low we're talking. Of course even with causes of very low sperm count there are occasionally stories of ladies getting a miracle baby that was conceived naturally after 4 years or trying or something. So as long as there are some sperm there is always room to be that 1 in a million.
Hopefully the SA results come back fine and you can stop worrying about it. But if they come back showing a problem at least your doctor can advise you on your best next steps for TTC.
Best of luck!

If you've had 2 chemical pregnancies with him, then technically you HAVE conceived, it just didn't stick. Even if you already have a child and everything checks out normal, it can still take some time to conceive. For starters, cp's are very common and many women have them without even realizing it. Experts say that most cp's and early mc's are caused by chromosomal anomalies. This is more common for women over 35 as our eggs age along with us. We don't produce more eggs than what we start out with. A perfectly healthy, fertile couple has about a 20% chance of conceiving each cycle and can take up to a year to succeed.
