Question

Cold like symptoms

Hi all,
I'm about 7dpo and have started the cold symptoms from 4 dpo. Will this be a very sign of pregnancy? Sorry I'm not asking this out of excitement. I need to travel in two to three days for 3hours in a bumpy and in bus. If so I need to be careful so only.

If it is an early pregnancy symptom, it's most likely caused by the progesterone surge that normally starts immediately following ovulation. So technically it's only a pregnancy symptom if you happen to turn up pregnant. Increased progesterone causes blood vessels to dilate, increasing blood flow and causing mucus membranes to become somewhat swollen. So it's common to have sinus congestion, runny nose, headaches, even sneezing during the week or so after ovulation, whether or not the egg was fertilized.
