First menstrual cycle after miscarriage
I miscarried June 8 at around five weeks pregnant. The very next day after the bleeding had begun, I went to my OB for confirmation. Ultrasound showed an empty uterus and my HCG levels were already back down to nothing. I'm still waiting on my first period since the miscarriage and am about a week late now. I've had cramping here and there with white lotiony cm as well as constipation but no other pregnancy symptoms. All home pregnancy tests have been negative. What's going on??? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ladies!

Sorry for your loss. I recently suffered a loss at 5 weeks on June 20th. My clinic told me that my cycle can take up to 3 months to return to normal and that it may be late due to later ovulation which I suspect is happening to you. I do temp and I know that I just ovulated for the first time post loss on cd 19 (I had been ovulating around day 13/14) so I know I will be "late" this month. Good luck!
