First period after Miscarriage?

I had a miscarriage May 16 and on June 23 I finally had some bleeding but it was very light for 6 days nothing more than spotting. I'm not sure if it is my period, possibly implantation bleeding or what... I'm confused and I plan on testing again to find out for sure but I was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience and if so what the outcome was? And I'm not sure when I should test?
