The same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago. I was almost five weeks pregnant when I starting experiencing bag cramps and felt as thought I needed to have a bowel movement. When I sat on the toilet I noticed bright red blood in my underwear. The bleeding got heavier and I started passing clots. I went to my OB/GYN the next morning where they confirmed I miscarried. I hope that's not what is happening to you. Best of luck.
