Can very early breast soreness be an indicator of pregnancy

I always have soreness a few days before my period but this time it was about a week maybe sooner after ovulation.. I never have had that happen which is why I ask wondering if anyone has had this similar situation and ended up being pregnant...

One of my first signs of being pregnant was sore nipples, I normally get sensitive ones before AF but this was something else! I couldn't touch then and putting a bra on them was so painful and I also noticed that my breast were really hot, like two hot water bottles (Sorry if TMI). I am now 12 weeks pregnant.
