I'm so sorry for your loss. I had this last cycle and my doctor told me I should call if I fill three regular pads in under a few hours. If you had told your doctor about the positive then you should call to tell them about this so they can update your file and not follow up in a few months to setup for first appointment.

So sorry for your loss. Mines happened while I was at work, I didn't want to sit in the hospital so I went to my general doc. He checked my cervix, told me it was still in tact but that I most likely will miscarry. He also told me to make note of blood clots, if they get extreme to go to the hospital. I bleed probably from 11am that day, went to the hospital around 1am the next morning just to assure that everything was out of me. I was done bleeding by that afternoon- just light spotting. I would go to the doc if it last longer.
