Question

CD41 and waiting....hello, Metformin!

I'm now on CD41 and just started Metformin (and medroxyprogesterone to force my body to start a new cycle). My recent glucose tolerance test and other labwork confirmed insulin resistance and ultrasound confirmed PCOS. I stopped my birth control in November and had clockwork 31-day cycles and ovulated on the 14th day of every month. Then I had a 34-day cycle with no ovulation. Now 41 days and counting with no ovulation. My doc started me on Metformin yesterday and will start me on Clomid or letrozole when my new cycle starts. Have any of yall had success with metformin and Clomid/Femarin? I just need to hear some success stories and support and encouragment. I can't handle any more heartbreak.

This cycle I took Clomid 150mg and dexamethasone and metformin (as well as estradiol and progesterone...). I had 5 ripe follicles at my cd13 scan. I'm presently in my 2ww. (9 dpo/piui). Clomid will (at some dosage) heko up to 80% of woman achieve ovulation...whether or not pregnancy happens is another story...but I can at least report it's helped me with the ovulation part!
