Soy iso with long cycles (40 days)
I found soy isoflavones (sp) last month but was a little to far into my cycle to start them, after 40 DAYS I am finally on cd1 of full flow and wanting to start them this month to try and shorten my cycles and induce ovulation. I know the "instructions" as far as what cd's you can take them and the dosages allowed (and what NOT to do) lol. But I am wanting to know if anyone with longer/irregular cycles had any luck with soy as natural clomid. And if so, what cycle days and mg did you take----then how long after the last dose did you ovulate?
I hear the O pains can be stronger and I assume they aren't horribly painful....maybe they are!?!
Even with no luck Id love any experiences!

I love Soy!! When I started taking Soy in 2012, my cycles were 41 days with O on cd25. I tried it and brought my cycles own to 28-30 days. I then used it to move my O date to when I needed it to happen (hubs traveled a lot). That was when I was ttc my daughter. Unfortunately after 12-ish cycles of it alone, no bfp. My daughter was conceived several months later with after Soy/Clomid combo (clomid, alone, failed). It did allow me more opportunities to try, so I def have no regrets going solo with it. After delivering dd in 2014, I jumped back on the soy wagon when clomid and other drugs failed to produce a sticky bean...got my BFP with a 240 dose on cd2-6. I tend to O about 7-8 days after my last dose and the pains are def stronger than a non-supped O...nothing intolerable tho.
Good luck. Hopefully it works for u. =))
