Has anyone had a clear blue dual hormone ovulation test pick up only one day of LH surge?

Has anyone had a clear blue dual hormone ovulation test pick up only one day of LH surge? I had been testing since CD5 (all neg.) up to CD8 which showed a non-flashing smiley face, then CD9 I tested again and was neg? Last cycle I missed my Ovulation because I wasnt expecting to ov. so early!! Cycle prior to last I got positive OPK's CD16 & 17?? Has this happened to anyone else with such a change in cycle length (from 29 to 20 days??) and only one day showing high fertility on Clear Blue Dual Hormone Test? BTW, both hubby and I are 28 healthy and been off contraception since March 2016. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! x x
