Question

Are evaporation lines common? What color are they suppose to be?

I've taken 3 tests. 2 are lift positives and 1 is solid positive but all came out after the time limit. What do I do? Am I pregnant???

Hi Abigail.b1, I don't know how common they are, I've never had them personally however I do know that tests will only show a colour line if positive for the HCG hormone. if its an EVAP it will be grey or silver in colour. Have you uploaded your tests to the gallery? ill take a look and let you know what I think if you have :) to be sure test again in a few days, or better yet get your doctor to take bloods :) H&H 9 months x

I would discard any test that has gone over the time limit. Evap lines are very common in tests that are past the normal 10 minute window. To be on the safe side I would visit your Dr.
