I haven't personally, But a lady I know did have this happen.
They tried for many many years to conceive their 1st, I met her at birthing classes with our 1st babies.
They never used contraception as they wanted more children, and given the time it took for the 1st they never used birth control.
2 years later, They were finally pregnant again! all for her to be rushed to emergency as it was ectopic and it ruptured. She almost died.
About a year or 2 after that she finally fell pregnant and had a safe and healthy pregnancy. She now has 2 children.
There is hope, but for some the waiting is just so testing... Seems many deserving ladies take so long to get pregnant. But it is possible and does happen, But if in doubt go and see your GP they may be able to help in some way.

I myself have not experienced this but I went through 3 of them with my bestfriend. The first ectopic almost killed her. She lost one ovary and one tube. She got preg. 6 months later and same thing happen. They cleaned out the scar tissue in the remaining tube and told her she would have a hard time conceiving..which was devastating news as we were trying to have children together and I was pregnant. The 3rd time was a miscarriage. She decided to stop trying to have a child and had decided she couldn't go through it again. 6 months later she was indeed pregnant, and this time everything was where it was supposed to be. Kelsey is now 3 months old:).Doctors are required to basically tell you the worst case scenarios...which are what we tend to focus on. While you did loose a tube, you have both ovaries. Our ovaries do not release eggs in a specific order, so only having one tube does not cut your chances in half. Your right ovary could release an egg for 3 months in a row, it depends
