I just finished my 3rd round on Clomid (100mg) on days 3-7. (Currently CD8 of 3rd clomid cycle)... I didn't get pregnant on the 1st 2 rounds but I think there were some timing issues with my IUIs. the first round I had TERRIBLE side effects... sore ovary all month, cramping, bloating, hot flashes, emotional and I O'd on CD11 (which was too early) and I ended up with a super short/light period which means I likely had lining issues due to the early O. My 2nd month I barely had any side effects... a couple hot flashes and that was it. I o'd on CD13 but was able to have an US on CD9 and they saw 3 large follicles and my lining was good. We didn't conceive that cycle either so we are crossing our fingers for this one. We have NOT been triggering which you may want to ask your clinic what they recommend for you (I ovulate and surge naturally so triggering would be our next step if this 3rd round doesn't work) good luck!

Hi, I also always had regular periods with 31 day cycles but when we started trying to conceive I missed a cycle and had some slightly longer cycles so went for investigations and found all normal except low progesterone. I was initially put on 50 mg clomid day 2- day 6 for the first 4 cycles. I ovulated first 3 cycles but did not conceive so dose remained the same. On my 4 th cycle I did not ovulate by day 14/15 but rather day 22 so Doc increased my clomid dose to 100 mg day 2 - day 6. I conceived on that cycle and I am now 13 weeks pregnant with my first child. So it can take a few cycles to get the dose right. I am having one baby no multiples. Regarding side effects, hot flashes, head ache, fatigue and some cramps. Good luck and let me know if u need anymore info! Baby dust!!!
