Question

Can I still get pregnant without having my first postpartum period?

A little background on me, my dd is almost 8 months old and I still haven't had my 1st period since having her. I'm not breastfeeding. Last weekend I had some cramping on & off with alot of watery mucus. I thought my period was coming, but it didn't come. We did dtd last Saturday. Could I still get pregnant? Has this happened to anyone? Did you turn out to be pregnant?

You can still get pregnant without having your period. I am pumping and my son is 8 months as well. I've only had one period and that was last month. Now, 41 days later, still nothing. I have heard that if you are breastfeeding things can be wonky. Anything after post baby can take time. I would just keep waiting and take a test?

You can still get pregnant as you (usually) have to ovulate before you get your period. My cycles were all over the place while I was BF'ing. If unsure take a HPT!
