Stomach virus affecting period?

Hello ladies! This is my first time posting, so I apologize if this has already been brought up. Last Saturday I came down with some sort of stomach virus. Hot flashes, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, dizziness, etc., it lasted 5 days. AF was supposed to arrive yesterday (14dpo) but all I had was brown/light red spotting. None of my usual cramps or period symptoms. My periods are VERY regular, even with multiple fibroids. Last night the spotting turned a little more red so I inserted a tampon and went to bed. I woke up today (15dpo) and nothing is happening at all. No spotting, no AF. I took HPTs 11, 12, 3, dpo because my fiance insisted and all BFN. We aren't trying for a baby yet since we get married in 12 days, but I am so confused as to what is going on. Could the stomach virus have caused the confusion? Anyone else ever experience this? Thank you!
