Question

Rollercoaster of positives negatives then positive home pregnancy test!

I have had a chemical pregnancy before so when my positive hot result started fading and then turned almost negative I assumed it was happening again. This morning the most sensitive test I have had only a shadow where a line used to be. . It was the third day in a row of the tests getting progressively lighter. I had resigned myself to the loss. Out of no where I had an extreme wave of fatigue and nausea. I had to sleep for 2 hours. I had more nausea, breast tenderness, dizziness. Symptoms increasing so I took two tests with diluted urine and they both popped positive right away! All tests before wave of sleepiness negative, all tests after positive.iT was early in the pregnancy. I assume implantation started to fail but it finally took root 4 days after. Still I'm cautiously optimistic.

Anyone have anything like this happen? What was the final outcome for the pregnancy?

I had this happen last cycle. I got super faint, ghostly lines starting around 8DPO. They were super faint "are they really there?" lines for a day or two then darkened to a decently obvious pink line. I was excited like "oh this is finally happening!" The next morning (12DPO) I tested and the line was lighter again. And the morning after (13DPO) that is was practically non-existent: back to being a ghostly line. I'd resigned myself to another chemical pregnancy. I have no willpower and couldn't help myself so I tested the next morning on 14DPO. The line was darker than the previous days and obviously pink. I was so freaking excited because maybe it wasn't a chemical after all! 15DPO I tested again and the line was practically gone. I started spotting a couple of hours after that and then my period started.

When I stopped bleeding I tested one more time. I told myself I wanted to make sure the tests weren't giving false positives. BFN.

I'd also just like to say (I ran out of space in my other comment) that just because I had a bad outcome doesn't mean you will. And hopefully you don't!

I really hope that everything works out OK for you and baby. Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months.
