When should I start ovulation testing?
Hello ladies my dr just started me on Monday 50mg of clomid 5-9 day supply when should I start testing and when should I do the deed trying to conceive after miscarriage in July an advice would be great sending baby dust to all:)

Testing for O should be started 3 days after ur last clomid dose, so, cd12, and bd'ing is up to u. U can start now and do it every other or every third day, or u can start cd10 and go eod, or start cd12 when u start testing and go eod. It really depends on how active of a sex life u two have. U def wanna bd in the days leading to O tho, not just when u get a positive test.

I've been taking clomid since January. My doctor doesn't have my doing any at home OPKs. I go in every month on CD13 for an ultrasound to check for follicles & their size. From there, if the follicles are good, we usually do an hCG trigger shot to ensure they release about 36 hours later. I like this option because it takes out the guess work. We start to BD on CD 12, and then every day until CD 16 as long as follies are good.
Have you asked the dr how he/she wants you to track it?
