Has anyone had false negatives later in the day?

Hi,
So by my calculations I am now 9 days DPO. I tested yesterday evening when I was 8 days DPO and it said NO- so I was disappointed but decided to test first thing in the morning with a cheap dollar store test which came up with a faint line 30 minutes after testing. I don't know when it showed up because I went back to sleep for a bit. Tested with 3 tests later on in the day and they were negative but urine was clear and diluted (I pee a lot). Has anyone had a similar experience but turned out to be pregnant?
