Question

Please answer asap! Iui trigger and timing question!

Dr wants me to trigger at 6:30 pm tonight, Friday, and do iui on Sunday morning 8:30. That is 38 hrs post trigger. Should I wait to trigger a little later tonight? Would 34 or 36 be better or even 30? I just want the best possible chances! My follicles were already 22 mm on cd 12, but opks are negative, so I haven't surged yet! Just wanting some feedback. I know the dr knows what's he's doing, but, I just feel triggering a little later might help and if I did ovulate a little earlier we'd still be ok????

I would suggest following your doctor's advice. If you don't trust your doctor then you may want to start looking for another doctor. You really need to be able to trust your doctor for the whole fertility treatment process. Although, even if you do start looking for another doctor in the meantime I'd suggest just doing what your doctor told you to do and assume that he has a reason for it.

Hopefully everything works out well!
