Should I find a different doctor? Am I possible pregnant or is something else going on?
I have a clockwork 28-29 day cycle and am ttc. I am 41, and have a history of 3 miscarriages. My mother had uterine cancer and is now cancer free:) My sister has PCOS. My AF was due apr. 25th I took 3 prego tests which I thought were faint positives but doctors bloodwork was negative. I have flu like symptoms and early prego symptoms as well. Still no AF which has never happened before. Been to the ER where they told me I may have ovulated late and to wait 4 weeks to see if AF came or a positive prego test. Went to family doctor for follow-up and he said no chance of pregnancy and only listened to my heart I do have a pap smear scheduled on may 12th and I will keep it but family doctor is blowing me off and refusing to do further testing....I feel miserable....asnd am of course stressed....any advice?

Hi, if those were real faint positives and not evaps then wait a few days and take another test. They should be darker than previous if you are pregnant.If not then they were just evaps. It is quite common to skip a cycle from time to time especially as you get older. I always had clockwork cycles but then last year at age 33, I randomly missed a cycle and thought I was pregnant but after negative test at doctors and two negative clear blue tests at home I knew I had just missed ovulating that month. So I would wait and see like the doctor said. Take care and good luck.
