7dpo and wanting to know if it is safe to have sex?
I know I probably sound dumb but I feel worried about doing anything that could harm my chances. I had a chemical last month because of my short 7 day luteal phase. I got a positive test but my period had already started and the pregnancy hormones dropped off quickly. I'm now 7dpo on my next cycle and af is not here yet. I am having a lot of promising symptoms but I know they could also be af starting up. Is it safe to have sex at this time? I don't want to have another loss.

There have been some studies that suggest having sex around the theoretical implantation window (7-12DPO or so) may actually increase the chances of successful implantation. Other studies have found that having sex around the time of implantation has no effect on implantation at all. Basically, if you want to have sex you should go for it. There hasn't been any evidence to suggest that sex around implantation would hinder implantation.
I agree with CathStarDeluxe that your luteal phase length is just way too short. You may want to discuss a possible luteal phase defect with your doctor.
Wishing you all the best.
