Is AF playing a cruel trick? Any advice welcome.
My periods run like clockwork. I have been tracking them for 7 months and it has only ever changed once where it arrived 2 days early. They arrive on the 28th day and always in the morning. Today is the 28th day and it's 9pm. I took a test and it was a bfn. I'm not allowing myself to get excited as this could be a cruel trick from AF. Do you think it could be late implantation therefor it wouldn't show up on a test yet? Has anyone else been in this situation?

Use this calculator to help you decide when to take your first home pregnancy test.

You're regular till you're not. Bodies are weird. Sometimes, for whatever reason, you'll ovulate earlier or later than normal. It's totally normal to have this happen. If you had a BFN the day of your missed period then it is unlikely that you're pregnant this cycle. However, you could have ovulated later than normal and it is too early to test. You won't really know until you get a BFP or your period.
I'd suggest temping in the future to avoid all this confusion. I have no intentions of ever going back to TTC without temping. It just leaves too many questions. "Did I ovulate? Is so, when? When is my period due? Am I late? Is this BFN real or is it still too early? What the heck is going on!?" I cannot recommend temping to confirm ovulation enough.
Hopefully you get your BFP soon.
